Masamang Ugat (2002)

Two brothers are separated after their mother dies. One becomes a cop, the other an assasin. The cop ambitiously wants to bring down a drug lord supported by politicians, while the assasin works for the same drug lord.

A cult leader who turns out to be their estranged father is supporting the drug lord. Both brothers are out to bring down the cult leader– one to save lives and solve crime, the other to avenge the death of their mother.
