He is descendant of a legendary hero, but for the young Pedro Penduko (Janno Gibbs) heroism in the silver screen is more appealing than real life bravado. But Pedro is not destined to be a movie star, and he soon realizes that when he meets Maguayan (Ramon Zamora), the leader of a faraway land threatened to destruction by a band of ruthless warriors.
Unwittingly, Pedro finds himself in the center of a kingdom in need of a hero. Though initially unwilling to get involved, Pedro soon discovers the hero in him and leads the people of Lanto ng Kanak in their struggle to prevent an invasion.
