Picked out from 219 entries, Jologs is the first prize winner of the 1st Annual Star Cinema Scriptwriting Contest.
The movie’s unique structure and storytelling effectively present the different realities in life. Although told in a humorous manner, the movie shows the seriousness and evolving concerns of different people– the struggle for survival, yearning for acceptance, search for truth and pursuit of dreams.
Jologs is a hilarious contemporary comedy made up of six interconnected stories about the young who try to overcome bogotry, irony and adversity that hound their existence. Ultimately, it reflects a modern sensibility that shows that in order to survive and prevail, we just have to live our lives— and try to live it the best way we can… often with love.
